With the audience diverging to modes of entertainment other than the silver screen, short films have had an opportunity to entertain us with its content. According to The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, a short film is defined as an original motion picture having a running time of a maximum of 40 minutes, including credits. Short films provide as much content as a normal feature film but quicker, so you can watch it even if you have 5-10 minutes to spare, on your journey to work, or during lunch breaks.
Amidst the lockdown where you have scrolled through almost all the content present on platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Zee5, etc., these 5 short films can prove to be refreshing and intriguing. Also, these short films are on YouTube, so the ones without subscriptions to the digital content platforms can also benefit.
While many viewers appreciate watching content from outside the country, a lot of us enjoy watching Indian digital content. Here is my list of 5 Must-Watch Hindi Short Films.
